The task of writing a personal bio seems a waste of my time, but - here goes!

My undergraduate training in dentistry at the University of Pretoria can be summed up as follows: a vain attempt to fit the rest of dentistry around an elective overcommitment to clinical maxillofacial and oral surgery. I suppose it's no surprise I now find myself eagerly involved in the training of dental undergraduates in that very department.

Other than that...well... I'm exploring the interesting world of research, attempting to satisfy my endless curiosity for things varied and unrelated, and trying (and failing) to live what can be called an attempt at an active lifestyle. I'm also actively seeking out ways to improve my photography and learning about statistics and data science through the use of Python and R programming. See my short CV below, if it is of interest to you.
